Lloyds and Halifax customers have been struggling to make and receive payments today as the outage continues.
“Trying to sell a car, can’t access my account to accept bank transfer, what a useless bank!,” one person fumed.
Another said: “Crazy. In someones house and trying to transfer money to pay for a puppy. Wouldn’t normally mind but it’s not a shop so can’t pay on a credit card.
“Guess this makes you realise that you always need to have multiple bank accounts with funds in, and not just rely on one.”
