‘It starts with these…’ Lisa Snowdon revealed the secret to her glowing skin in a recent video, and it’s not the only beauty secret she divulged
One of our favourite queen of glow, Lisa Snowdon, recently gave a little insight into her hero products for perfecting that signature radiance. We already know that the TV star and former model is well versed in skincare secrets, having picked up plenty of expert advice during her career. Which makes us all the more eager to to get some insider info on her actual routine.
Speaking on her Instagram Stories, she gave fans a glimpse into her beauty routine while getting ready, revealing the steps behind her enviably smooth skin.
“My secret to smooth glassy skin starts with these,” she told followers as she began her routine. “Gorgeous gold bee venom eye patches.”

The masks in question are Rodial’s glittery gold Bee Venom Jelly Eye Patches, £56 for 4 pairs. Explaining why she loves them so much, Lisa said they help to “plump, soothe and smooth under the eyes”.
According to Rodial, the patches contain ethically sourced bee venom melittin peptides, an ingredient known for its firming effects that can help visibly smooth and plump the delicate under-eye area. Plus they have cooling jelly technology so the ingredients get delivered directly to the skin, helping to soothe the area while the treatment works.
They also contain Eyeliss™, which helps firm the appearance of the under-eye area and reduce the look of sagging, as well as Vitamin C to help brighten and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone.
The jelly-like texture makes the soft and comfortable to apply, and you can wear them while you’re getting ready in the morning, for an immediate smoothing effect that Lisa loves. As she whipped them off she noted, “Ahh, feels lovely”.
And her secrets didn’t stop there. Lisa went on to talk her followers through the rest of her routine, describing the glowing finish she aims for with her base – and it’s not just one single product. Instead, she mixes Rodial’s Bee Venom Super Serum with their Glass Tint Moisturiser (her shade is St Barths, but it comes in six skin-tone shades).
“Glass Tint is like a hybrid of makeup and skincare,” she explained. “It’s a lovely medium coverage … dewy, glasslike. I can still see my skin through it, but more pump.”
The presenter also shared one brightening product she says she never skips.
“My banana lowlighter which I don’t go anywhere without,” she said. “It really brightens and lightens. It gives you a lit-from-within look.”
Lisa’s Bee Venom Super Serum and Glass Tint Combination does come to a rather eye watering £240 for two products, so if you’d like a more budget friendly version, try this Advanced Bee Venom Serum for just £5.99, available on Amazon.
