Tesco shoppers don’t have long left to use up millions of pounds worth of Clubcard vouchers before they expire.

The vouchers that are set to expire were first issued in February 2024 and will become worthless after 11.59pm on February 28.
An estimated £11million worth of Clubcard vouchers are set to expire. Clubcard members get points every time they spend money in Tesco stores or online.

For every £1 you spend on groceries, you get one point. Tesco shoppers can also collect points through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile as well.
If you’re buying fuel, every £2 is worth one point until June 14 – after this date, you will get one point for every two litres of fuel you buy.
You need a minimum of 150 points to get a Clubcard voucher, which will be worth £1.50 to spend in Tesco.
If you don’t want to spend your vouchers in Tesco stores, it is possible to extend their use-by date. The trick involves making a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards webpage.
The remaining balance is then credited back to your Clubcard account as points. You should aim to spend as little as possible – even just 50p – so the maximum amount is put back into your Clubcard account.
So if you spend 50p using a £5 Clubcard voucher, you’ll get 450 points back, worth £4.50. The expiry date for these new vouchers will be two years in the future.
You can also get more for your money by doubling or tripling the value of your Clubcard vouchers by using them with a Rewards Partner, such as Pizza Express, Alton Towers or Hotels.com.
How to check your Clubcard balance
You can check your Clubcard balance by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website with your account details.
Once you are logged in, click on “my Clubcard account” and then “vouchers” and you should see a table listing the vouchers you still have to spend.
You can spend any leftover vouchers online straight away, or print them out from home if you would rather use them in store.
Tesco has around 20 million Clubcard members.
