A top sleep tech brand has launched six luxury bedding collections to help shoppers sleep more easily

Bedding is about more than aesthetics – the right fabrics can regulate temperature and add a touch of luxury to nighttime. Now, one of the UK’s top-rated sleep brands has launched a new range helping to upgrade shoppers’ bedtime experience.

Simba Sleep may be best known for its hugely popular mattresses, especially the Hybrid mattress, which has racked up more than 350,000 five-star reviews worldwide. But now, the brand has branched out into bedding with six new fabric collections, all designed to help shoppers achieve a better night’s rest.

Leading the collection is the Cotton Percale Bedding (from £39), a cool and crisp option with the smooth, fresh feel of luxury boutique hotel sheets. Ideal for warmer sleepers, the breathable cotton fabric feels lightweight and refreshing against the skin.

For colder nights, Simba has also introduced its Brushed Tencel Bedding (from £49), which combines the cosy, velvet-soft feel of brushed cotton with moisture-wicking properties to help sleepers stay comfortable overnight. Meanwhile, the Egyptian Cotton Bedding (from £49) is silky-soft and luxurious, but still comfortable enough to become an everyday staple.

There’s also the Waffle Bedding (from £59), which blends warmth with breathable cotton fabric. With its textured finish, it’s a great choice for anyone wanting bedding that adds a little more interest and dimension to their bedroom, rather than the traditional smooth hotel-sheet look.

Simba’s luxury bedding range is made up of six fabrics, each of which is expertly made for softness and cooling.

The Muslin Bedding has been designed with comfort front of mind too, thanks to its airy, cloud-like feel that’s especially gentle on sensitive skin. And finally, the Linen Bedding combines linen with Tencel fibres, offering Simba’s ultimate cooling and softness-focused bedding option.

The new range comes in a selection of calming, versatile shades to suit almost any bedroom scheme, including Pure White, Oatmeal, Cloud Grey and Sage Green. All bedding is available in standard UK sizes from single through to super king.

Beyond Simba, another great place to shop for bedding is Piglet in Bed. The UK-based brand has built a loyal following for its soft, breathable fabrics and charming cottagecore aesthetic, with prices starting from £79 for a bedding bundle.

Otherwise, Rise & Fall specialises in the world’s finest extra-long staple cotton, which gives its sheets that silky-soft, hotel-worthy finish while still feeling crisp and cool to the touch. A full cotton duvet bundle (two pillowcases, a fitted sheet and a double duvet cover) costs £160.

The Simba Sleep bedding is so new that it hasn’t received any reviews yet. However, I tried the brand’s Satin Weave Sheets in 2023, when they were still available on-site. While it’s worth noting that these sheets aren’t the ones available now, it is still a good chance to see how Simba bedding holds up.

Even after a few years of use, they feel just as silky and smooth as the day they arrived, maintaining that high-end, fresh-out-of-the-box texture. I opted for the pure white to achieve a classic, crisp look, and they’ve held up beautifully.

The quality is exactly what you’d expect from a specialised sleep brand – sturdy yet incredibly soft. However, a word of advice for anyone picking up the new range: stick to the washing instructions. To keep them in this condition, I’ve had to be diligent with the laundry care, as premium fabrics like these are at risk of losing their finish if treated too roughly.

The only real hurdle is the price point. These are an investment, and at a glance, they can seem expensive compared to high-street alternatives from the likes of Dusk or Dunelm, where duvet sets can sit around £25. But after years of use, I’m convinced it pays to invest in sleep tech – especially when they feel this good.
