Charlotte Tilbury’s Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick has been arguably one of the brand’s most successful launches in recent years, with fans obsessed with the glowy cream formula. And now, there’s a way to try it for less than £4.
It comes as the iconic beauty brand has launched new travel-friendly versions of the popular product for £16, giving beauty fans a more affordable way to try the luxury formula without committing to the full-size £32 version. Available in four flattering shades, it’s been designed with holidays, weekends away and handbag touch-ups in mind.

Charlotte Tilbury describes it as ‘your unreal summer glow on the go’, with the cream-balm formula designed to glide onto skin before blending effortlessly with fingers, a brush or a sponge. The versatile stick can also be dabbed onto the lips or swept across the bridge of the nose and forehead for a naturally flushed look.
The skincare-infused formula contains the same Skin Barrier Defence Matrix found in the brand’s Unreal Skin Foundation Stick , alongside hydrating hyaluronic acid and Collageneer. It’s also clinically proven to help strengthen the skin barrier over time.
According to Charlotte Tilbury’s consumer testing of 210 people over one week, 97% agreed the blush felt weightless, while 95% said it had a blurring and smoothing effect. Meanwhile, 94% agreed it delivered a natural-looking pop of colour and a second-skin finish.
I recently headed into a Boots store where Charlotte Tilbury is stocked and got an expert to show me how to use the blush stick before I went on to purchase the mini version at home. The makeup artist recommended placing the blush high up on the cheekbones and told me: “You only need a tiny amount and you can pat and then gently swipe towards the ear. It’s like you’ve had Botox when you haven’t.”
I tried Peachy Glow in store but opted for Rosy Glow for my personal beauty arsenal. Using the blush stick as part of my routine, it’s incredibly easy to apply, and I’d go so far to say that it’s ‘mistake-proof’, making for a beginner-friendly formula that is very difficult to get wrong when starting with a small amount of product and building to the desired intensity.
I love using it for a ‘no makeup’ makeup look, as it feels lightweight on the skin but gives a dewy, natural-looking pop of colour and second-skin finish. Infused with light-mapping pearlescent pigments, it blurs imperfections and lasts for up to eight hours, even during the warm weather.
I’m a big fan of a cream blush, and alongside the Charlotte Tilbury offering, I’m also a huge fan of the Flush Balm by Merit, which retails at £26. It comes in £13 shades and boasts a lightweight, buildable formula that leaves a long-lasting glow that’s never heavy or cakey.
Elsewhere, the Pocket Blush from Hailey Bieber’s brand, Rhode, is exceptionally popular among makeup lovers. The £25 product delivers a satiny, diffused flush that melts on smoothly and stays all day.
Back at Charlotte Tilbury, reviews of the blush sticks are overwhelmingly positive, particularly among shoppers with mature skin. One customer wrote: “This cream blush is a dream for mature skin. The texture is so smooth and hydrating, leaving a fresh, youthful glow rather than a heavy or powdery finish. It melts into the skin beautifully and looks incredibly natural. I wore it while out shopping and received a lovely compliment on my makeup — which says it all! A luxury product that truly delivers, and one I’ll be repurchasing again and again.”
Another said: “This blush is amazing. The color is super pigmented, so you only need a little, and it lasts all day. It gives the perfect glow without settling into fine lines, which is great for mature skin. Application is fool proof and blends like a dream with brush, sponge or fingers. It’s light, compact, and fits easily in my makeup bag, so it’s perfect for travel too.”
Not every review has been glowing, however. One customer felt the colour payoff wasn’t quite strong enough and said they found it didn’t last as long as expected. They said: “I’m not impressed, doesn’t really last very long and I personally think the pigment isn’t strong enough. However, it does glide on and feels nice at the time.”
A fourth shopper added: “I wore this and my friends commented on how fresh my skin looked. Super easy to apply. So good I purchased another for my friend’s birthday.”
