Multiple people, including a 14-year-old, are seriously injured after a car believed to have been stolen crashed during a police chase in East London.
Officers said they began pursuing the vehicle at around 12.30am before the horror unfolded in Goodmayes, with an air ambulance and specialist paramedics deployed to the scene.
The driver, a woman in her 20s, and four passengers ploughed into a second car at the junction of High Road and Barley Lane, close to Goodmayes station.
Paramedics treated nine people at the scene before rushing six to hospital for further treatment. The Metropolitan Police said those left seriously injured are aged between 14 and 46.
The driver of the second car, two of their passengers and a moped driver were all treated by London Ambulance Service (LAS), the force said.
