This is the second recent Meta outage as users previously reported experiencing problems on Sunday.
Just like today, thousands encountered an error message at the weekend when trying to log in on the desktop version of Facebook.
Other apps like Messenger and Instagram were also affected.
The error on Sunday read: “Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes.”
