Shoppers have been left amazed after spotting an ‘amazing deal’ on meat in their local Morrisons supermarkets which can help save you a small fortune this month

Shoppers have been rushing to their local Morrisons supermarket after hearing about an ‘amazing deal’ that can save you a fortune this month. There’s no doubt that everyday items, including food and groceries, have got a lot more expensive recently. Because of this, many will be taking advantage of any deals and discounts offered in their local supermarkets to help save some cash.

Now, many shoppers are rushing to their nearest Morrisons store after a barbecue bundle of meat went viral due to the ‘incredible’ price tag and variety included. One of the people who’s taken advantage of the deal is Clair, a first-time mum who often takes to TikTok to share the various ways she’s saved money, from thrifting clothes to DIYing her son’s summer outfits.

Now she’s shared how she made the most of the retailer’s barbecue meat bundle. “I’ve just got a week’s worth of meat for less than ten quid,” Clair said at the start of the video, as she showed off the big tray of various types of meat.

“When I heard that Morrison’s had these £9.97 barbecue bundles, I knew I had to get one,” she said as she showed herself walk into her local Morrisons store to find the bundle in question.

She went on to say that she hadn’t found them in the butchers section of the store, but rather in the chilled section, although this may vary from store to store. She then hurried back home to see what she’d got.

“So back home, what does £9.97 actually get you?” she wondered as she went on to weigh and portion out the meat in her bundle.

She went on to reveal there was just over two kilograms worth of meat, including 353g beef steak, 567g pork chops, 681g beef burgers, and 467g pork sausages. It was all British meat packed at the butchers counter into the bundles.

While the bundles are said to be for barbecues, Clair revealed she’d taken advantage of the deal to prep a five different meals for her family.

She revealed in the caption of the post that she’d turned ‘half of the burgers’ to meatballs, before chopping up the steak and marinating it with soy sauce, ginger, and chili to add into a stir fry.

The pork chops were seasoned with a Guinness BBQ rub she said she’d bought from Lidl, before saying the sausages would be used in a tray bake, or in some sausage butties.

“Price wise, for similar amounts of meat bought separately, it would cost around £16-£18. I think this is amazing value for a barbecue or a way to prep some tasty family meals,” Clair said.

People went on to share their thoughts in the comments section, as many said they’d be heading to their local Morrisons to get the same bundle.

“Ohhhhh didn’t know this existed, will be looking at my local store this week,” one person wrote. Another person said: “Wow that’s 20 meals for me as I live alone thank you so much.”

“Morrisons have been doing such good deals recently, love how they still have a butchers,” a third person wrote.
