A large section of the M25 in Surrey has been brought to a standstill after a broken down vehicle forced two lanes to close.
Lanes 1 and 2 clockwise were closed between junctions 5 and 6. National Highways say drivers are now facing huge delays on approach, coupled with eight miles of traffic.
“There are delays in excess of 70 minutes on the approach with 8 miles of congestion,” it warned.
