Meanwhile, the Ocean Edge Holiday Park in Lancashire has been picking up strong ratings on its website. One visitor shared: “Had a lovely few days away.
“Caravan was clean and well presented. Good instructions on how the heating works and great advice received on where to visit during our stay. Dog friendly.” Another remarked: “I’ve always enjoyed this place.”
Though some had minor reservations, with one noting: “Everything was spot-on apart from the showbar, fortunately we went out of season and only just managed to get a seat. The showbar is in my humble opinion far too small for comfort.
“Apart from that everything else was tickety-boo!” Another chimed in: “We should have come in May 2025 but you cancelled our booking so came in October 2025. The weather was good for October and I had a good rest.”
On the whole, most guests were positive, with one sharing: “The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic, especially with our daughter, making our holidays truly memorable.
“The Milkshake Mornings and Starland Crazy in the evening were particular highlights. They could not have done any more for her and she loved the attention, sometimes being the only child on the dance floor. We are already looking forward to planning our next holiday with them.”
