A major British banking group is set to shut an additional 95 bank branches, affecting customers of Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland

A British banking giant is set to shrink its branch network further, with 95 sites facing the shutter.

Lloyds Banking Group will close a further 95 branches across the UK, affecting customers of Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland.

The group announced today that 53 Lloyds branches, 31 Halifax and 11 Bank of Scotland sites will shut. The closures will take place between May 2026 and March 2027. Once the changes are complete, the bank will have 610 branches remaining.
