The opera singer launched a new bouquet to celebrate VE Day where half of the sale price will go to the Royal British Legion, supporting the Armed Forces community
Welsh opera singer, OBE and all around national treasure, Katherine Jenkins has launched a new bouquet of flowers at Marks & Spencer, where half of the net sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion.
The singer is the biggest-selling classical artist of the century and performed at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. And she is also a longterm supporter of the Armed Forces, having frequently braved war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan to perform concerts for the troops. The Katherine Jenkins VE Day Bouquet, £45, is available now until VE Day (May 8th) with 50% of profits going to the charity.

The VE Day Bouquet features 28 stems, including purple and white stocks alongside our favourite flower of the season – red peonies., so it smells and looks gorgeous. Katherine says, “I’ve always felt incredibly honoured to support the Royal British Legion, and I wanted this bouquet to reflect that – something hopeful, beautiful and full of meaning. A small way to remember to say thank you.”
As well as this special edition for VE day, all the flowers in the Katherine Jenkins x M&S collection will be included in the 50% charity donation, so you can know you’re doing your bit for a good cause whichever one you choose. All available exclusively online, they are:
- The Symphony Bouquet, £75, with 46 stems of soft pink and cream roses with burgundy scabiosa and astrantia, plus accents of purple dracaena and pink phlox
- The Serenade Bouquet, £100, with 69 stems in soft green and white tones including limonette roses, blush scabiosa and white veronica, accented with rosemary and eucalyptus.
- The Opera Bouquet, £75, with 51-stems of red, pink, and cerise roses, alongside freesia and white veronica. This is also available for £125, to include a bottle of Katherine Jenkins’ Cygnet 22 Gin.
- The Classical Bouquet, £100, with 53 stems of fragrant pink lilies, delicate pink freesia, and graceful pink and cream roses.

M&S are the only premium UK retailer with a Flower Doctor (yes, it’s a real title), who works directly with their supplier to make sure the flowers are always of the best quality, which is how they pass the 5-day freshness test.
M&S is not the only brand supporting the RBL this summer. Did you know for every tube of Euthymol Toothpaste sold, 10p is donated to the charity?
