“The noise cancellation is one of the standout features.”

Shoppers on the lookout for a trendy, yet good quality pair of headphones for summer holidays or travel could make the most of JBL’s latest sale. As pairs plummet in price, including one with ‘unbeatable audio quality’.

The JBL Tour One M3 have immersive sound for 360-degree music, high-res audio and adaptive noise cancelling, all features that help make the on-sale pair feel more premium and boost user experience, but for a lower price. As they drop from £329.99 to £249.99 in the online refurbished set sale.

Pasting in the code Reach10 at checkout makes them even less, cutting 10% off the existing sale price. Plus, JBL will throw in a Free Go Essentials 2 speaker for £0, despite it usually retailing for more than £100.

JBL has developed a range of over-ear and on-ear headphones perfectly suited for the gym or simply enjoying music in the comfort of one’s own home. The Tour One M3 pair are best recommended for frequent commuters and flyers, thanks to their ability to block out noise.

This is down to its ANC tech (Active Noise Cancellation) which helps mute out surrounding sounds, be it loud conversations, a plane on take-off or traffic. Something rival high-end pairs like Apple and Sony are well nown for too.

JBL Tour One M3

JBL is knocking 10% off all headphones excluding refurbished in its spring sale, including the JBL Tour One M3. For a limited time the pair also comes with a free wireless Bluetooth speaker, worth more than £100.

Something wearers of the pair speak highly of online, as one wearer said: “The noise cancellation is one of the standout features as it does an excellent job of blocking out background noise, whether I’m at the gym, commuting, or working in a busy environment.”

The same review also commented on a main perk of the ANC feature: “At the gym, the ANC helps me stay focused on my workout by cutting out the sound of machines and chatter around me. The sound quality is rich and balanced, with deep bass that makes music feel more immersive, yet not overwhelming.”

The Tour One M3 pair combines lossless high-quality sound with eight-mic adaptive noise cancelling. These top-of-the-range headphones can be used wired or wirelessly, and reproduce music closer to how it was originally recorded in the studio, with roughly three times more data than standard Bluetooth audio, as the Express has previously reported.

They also boast 360-degree head tracking and crystal-clear phone calls courtesy of four adaptive beamforming mics powered by AI, which eliminates echoes and background noise. To top it all off, they deliver an impressive battery life of up to 70 hours.

Another wearer commented on the battery life, and said: “Great long battery life. Sound quality is perfect, great clarity – even when I am playing my music really loud. Excellent sound on voice calls, there is absolutely no external noise at all.”

Rival premium options include the Sony WH1000XM6 Over-Ear Wireless Headphones, now £349.99 at Argos, are also highlight rated. Fitted with the new HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3 this pair has been designed to cut out noise, as the name suggests.

Another option is the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra, currently £229 at Currys, these are £70 cheaper than the usual retailer price. Also considered to be a premium pair and have the perk of its pastel colour options for shoppers.

Back to the JBL Tour One M3 and other positive reviews include users who were happy with the fit. As one person highlighted how ‘they cannot fault them’, as they said: “The fit on the ear is so comfortable, I’ve never had a pair that has been so comfortable to wear, but also kept that amazing sound quality – you usually get one or the other – but not with these. I actually cannot fault them at all.”

One shopper did however, mention disappointment, as they said: “These a great headphones. Comfy and great battery life. Good bass and sound quality. Also impressed with the case they come in very handy for travelling. Only downside point is could be slightly louder I guess. They aren’t quiet but not loud either.”
