Shoppers have said the trainers pair well with summer dresses and skirts
There are plenty of footwear options on the market, so it can be difficult to know which ones to choose. Summer is a time where many decide to place comfort over style.
Yet, Marks and Spencer shoppers say they have found a pair of stylish and “very comfortable” trainers that are ideal to wear with dresses and skirts. Trainers offer more stability and durability over sandals.
The high street store’s Cupsole Trainers are £26 and come in two different colours. Customers can choose from white or black, and sizes three to eight.
Marks and Spencer also offers half size options so shoppers can get their ideal fit. The product description reads: “Keep your casual looks sleek and sophisticated with these low-top trainers.
“The cupsole design features high, protective rubber sidewalls for optimal durability, and a classic lace-up fastening. An all-over pebble grain finish adds subtle texture to this minimalist style.”
Shoppers have left many positive reviews and praised the look and fit of the shoes. One said: “These trainers look and feel great. Very comfortable and trendy.”
Another added: “Really comfortable to wear. Fit well. Easy to clean.” Someone else commented: “The fit is true to size, they are very comfortable, excellent value. These are the third pair in this style that I have bought, and would recommend them.”
A fourth wrote: “Useful trainers for spring/summer light and comfortable.” Another shared: “Perfect lightweight trainer bought to go with summer dresses. I’d say they are true to size and they didn’t take any breaking in. They were comfortable straight away.”
However, some shoppers did struggle with comfort and said they “squeaked” when walking. One said: “They are lovely and fit well but I am returning them as they squeak horribly when I walked around the house in them it drive me mad.”
Another added: “These trainers were inexpensive at £26 and looked okay, but they squeaked badly when I walked around the house in them.
“I think it’s because they were a man-made material, but it was quite bad. I returned them and bought a leather pair for £50. You get what you pay for I guess!”
There are plenty of other white trainers on the market. Matalan has White Low Platform Trainers for £16 that come in sizes three to eight.
The description reads: “Crafted from smooth faux leather, they feature a crisp white upper with matching laces for a streamlined look. The low platform design adds subtle height, while the all white design gives a fresh, modern finish.”
Meanwhile, George at Asda has White Chunky Platform Canvas Trainers that were £12.50 but are now £9.37. They have been stocked in sizes three to nine and feature a chunky platform sole and canvas upper.
