Iceland fans are leaving rave reviews of a ‘luxury’ ready meal that is ‘absolutely delicious’ and costs from £3.34 in stores and online.
The supermarket is well known for its popular items, with customers often keen to snap up everything from baked goods to pizza and desserts, and one product has shoppers talking. One fan said this ready meal is “probably the best meal Iceland has ever produced”. The meal in question is Iceland’s Luxury Parmesan Chicken Pasta Bake With Truffle.
Priced at £4, or £3.34 as part of a three for £10 deal, it has an overall rating of 4.5 out of a possible five stars, with a number of glowing reviews. One customer wrote: “Absolutely delicious very flavourful and no onions one of the few ready meals without them would highly recommend.”
A second said: “Probably the best meal Iceland has ever produced. Absolutely delicious. Definitely is luxury” and a third added: “This was like something I’d get from a restaurant. Loved the truffle”. A fourth wrote: “Quite rich and creamy not overpowered with the truffle and real chicken which makes a huge difference. Would definitely order again”.
The 400g ready meal is described by Iceland as being topped with ciabatta breadcrumbs and regato cheese. It can be cooked in the oven or microwave from frozen, and had 624 calories, 39.3g of protein, and 2.5g of salt per pack.
Other Iceland Luxury meals within the three for £10 range include a slow cooked sticky beef rib lasagne, a steak chianti ragu, and a king prawn alfredo.
