Aldi shoppers can upgrade their World Cup viewing parties with a ‘giant’ inflatable screen. The supermarket has revealed it is launching a new sports range, as football fever is about to take over the nation. The new ‘Special Buys’ include viewing party essentials and official FIFA merch.
Aldi says the products will be available in stores from June 4, ahead of this year’s opening match at Mexico City Stadium on June 11. With fans counting down the days until the 23rd FIFA World Cup, Aldi’s range could impress shoppers hosting their friends and family.
For customers planning viewing parties, the store is selling a giant inflatable screen for £59.99. Suitable for use in gardens, Aldi says the screen brings the stadium buzz to homes. The supermarket says: “Easy to set up and massive in size, it’s the perfect centrepiece to ensure no one misses a single second of the action.”
Aldi is also selling a £49.99 HD LED Projector, described as the ‘perfect partner’ to the inflatable screen for the ‘ultimate viewing experience.’ Aldi says: “Projecting up to a massive 130 inches, it brings every goal to life. With a built-in speaker and a three-year warranty, it’s a must-have for hearing the roar of the crowd.”
For refreshments, Aldi is stocking a £4.99 Beer Glass in five different designs. Aldi is also launching a range of officially licensed merchandise.
Shoppers can pick up Adults’ National t-shirts for £4.99 and Children’s National t-shirts for £3.99 alongside official FIFA World Cup 26 t-shirts. The official adult t-shirt is £6.99, and the children’s version is £4.99.
The supermarket says the range is expected to sell out, with items only available while stock lasts. Aldi customers can find their nearest supermarket by checking the website.
