Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Emily Atack has starred in a new lingerie campaign with a Bridgerton-meets-Rivals twist, and fans are already saying she’s ‘broken the internet’
It’s a campaign that’s impossible to miss, and fans are already claiming that it’s “broken the internet”, as Emily Atack dares to bare in a brand new spring/summer collection from lingerie brand Agent Provocateur. Titled The Duchess, the campaign was inspired by the refined elegance of British aristocratic glamour, reimagined through the scandalous, indulgent rhythms of countryside living in the late 1980s.
Sound familiar? That’s because it was also heavily inspired by the late Jilly Cooper’s “bonkbuster” novel Rivals, with Emily also starring in the TV series based on it. Truly a match made in heaven! When the campaign was revealed on Instagram, fans went wild for the creative direction, the pieces, and – of course – Emily.

One said: “I absolutely LOVE this. Go go Emily”, whilst another wrote: “Here’s a way to break the internet! In fact Miss Atack… you win the internet today! Flawless!”
Creative director Sarah Shotton said: “I was up North when Rivals came out, with its brilliant cast & costumes, and I just fell in love with all things British, once again. SS26 is very late-1980s, it’s over the top and really fun, with lots of fabulous prints and fabrics. It’s one of my favourite collections in a long time. We needed someone bold, British and utterly gorgeous to bring it to life; it could only ever have been Emily for the campaign.”
Although Sarah was inspired by Rivals for The Duchess campaign, we can’t help notice there was a touch of Bridgerton about the grand country house setting, with aristocratic paintings and gold gilding everywhere. That makes now the perfect time to launch it, timed just right with the release of the new Bridgerton series, and with Valentine’s Day on the way.
The collection itself is the perfect mixture of playful, feminine and of course a little bit risqué as is Agent Provocateur’s signature style. There’s matching sets galore, satin, lace and PVC materials, and plenty of accessories from elbow-length gloves to robes and garters.
There’s even pieces that you could wear as outerwear (trust us) with full-coverage long sleeve bodysuits, pleated skirts and mini dresses. The Emily Atack X Agent Provocateur The Duchess campaign is available to shop now, and plenty of brands have also launched their own Valentine’s Day collections ahead of February 14.
Bluebella is another brand known for its playful, fun and flirty lingerie pieces, and its Valentine’s Day collection is full of heart motifs, ribbon cut outs and rose-printed lace. Intimissimi is also enjoying a new-found wave of popularity after featuring on the most recent season of Emily in Paris, and its latest romantic range has landed and is ready to shop ahead of February 14.
