The homeware retailer is selling a £20 item that looks similar to a pricier alternative
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, many shoppers will be looking for presents. For jewellery lovers, Dunelm is selling a £20 Metal and Glass Jewellery Stand that could be perfect for gifting. The organiser is described as ‘a chic and practical addition to any dressing table’.
The product also arguably resembles a pricier alternative. Shoppers could compare Dunelm’s offering to Oliver Bonas’ Gold and Glass Cream Boucle Jewellery Stand, but it is more expensive at £39.50. As such, shoppers could save almost £20 by opting for Dunelm’s jewellery stand instead of Oliver Bonas’ design.
However, shoppers should be aware that there are some differences between the designs. Both retailers have created metal jewellery stands with hooks for necklaces or bracelets, and both stands sit over a rectangular box, with space to store rings, bracelets, and other small items. So they look similar in shape and construction. But the brands opted for different colours and box designs, meaning the overall look is not identical.
