A ‘classic’ scent has been reduced in price ahead of Father’s Day – and shoppers are saying it is ‘clean, masculine’ and ‘long-lasting’. It could be the perfect gift for this special occasion and it won’t break the bank.
The Davidoff Cool Water Aftershave is currently available on Amazon for £20.25 for a 125ml bottle. More than 300 have been bought in the past month, and it is listed as an Amazon’s Choice product.
It is currently cheaper than Superdrug’s price, where it is being sold for £36.50. The brand says the product nourishes, soothes and calms skin post-shave, with a fresh, scented splash of Cool Water’s signature marine notes.
It features top notes of coriander and mint, heart notes of lavender, and base notes of amber. Said to offer ‘immediate freshness’, the brand describes the fragrance as an ‘aromatic essence of masculine vitality, power and seduction’.
For an alternative product, shoppers could grab the Gucci Guilty For Him Eau de Parfum (90ml) for £96.80, down from £121. This is said to have a ‘heady rose essence, sensual cedarwood and an unexpected touch of chili pepper’.

Or at Boots, there’s the Boss Bottled Night Eau de Toilette (200ml) for £61.50, down from £123. Described as a ‘woody aromatic’ fragrance, the brand says this is ‘an intense and spicy aftershave for men with a purposeful, edgy, masculine character’.
The Davidoff Cool Water Aftershave for Him has received an overall average rating of 4.6 out of five from more than 14,700 reviews. One person dubbed it as a ‘fresh, classic scent that feels clean and long-lasting’, before adding: “I’ve been using Davidoff Cool Water Aftershave and it’s a really classic, fresh scent that never feels overpowering. It has that clean, masculine fragrance that works well for everyday use, whether it’s after shaving or just as a light splash-on.”
A second person said: “Bought for my other half who loves this aftershave. He has many aftershaves but loves this one the most. Has a very distinct smell. Very soft coriander and mint smell to it, it’s a real quality aftershave. The smell is long-lasting and absolutely good value for money.”
