B&M could have just the thing for shoppers who want to create a ‘calm’ atmosphere in their bedrooms. Known for stocking homeware and furniture, the retailer may have introduced a new crowd-pleaser.
The discount chain has launched a new £25 Ruffle Duvet Set for double beds that arguably looks like a more expensive version. According to the store, the bedding adds a ‘peaceful ambience’ to rooms. The ‘luxurious’ B&M set could be compared to John Lewis’ £70 Scallop Duvet Cover Set, a double set offered in white or mixed colours.
Shoppers browsing the product images will see that both designs include ruffled edges with matching pillowcases. What’s more, both sets are made from cotton. However, the cheaper option is made from T200 percale, whereas the John Lewis bedding is made from Egyptian cotton.
Given differences in fabric and design, customers will likely have preferences when comparing the products, and some may prefer the pricier style. But for shoppers on a budget, the B&M design might be just what they’re looking for. Both designs give bedrooms a similar look if customers opt for the white bedding.
