Anna Mosley Calls on UK Businesses to Prioritise Change Intelligence Amid AI-Driven Workplace Shifts

Renowned leadership coach and founder of Eighty™, Anna Mosley, is urging UK organisations to build mentally resilient teams and foster Change Intelligence (CQ) as artificial intelligence continues to reshape modern work culture.

Following recent appearances at The Scottish Business Conference 2025 and The Recruitment Network’s CEO Huddle, Mosley is encouraging leaders to stop reacting to AI trends without first ensuring their teams have the mindset and leadership capability to thrive through change.

Anna said: “In the current business climate of fast-paced tech advancements, Change Intelligence is an essential leadership metric for success that is too often overlooked.”

Mosley works with growth-focused leaders across the globe, guiding them to elevate their emotional and change intelligence. Her leadership programmes are being embraced by leading companies such as ghd, Sacla and Beauty Works, positioning them to drive performance with clarity and composure.

CQ, or Change Intelligence, is defined by Mosley as the ability to adapt positively to disruption, uncertainty, and shifting conditions. Leaders with strong CQ are able to guide teams through transformation with calm authority, modelling resilience and reinforcing psychological safety.

“People follow confidence, not chaos,” Mosley added. “The businesses that thrive will be the ones whose leaders remain calm in unknown, able to guide their teams through disruption, not around it.”

The call to action comes as Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index reveals 78% of UK professionals already incorporate generative AI in their roles — yet one in three business leaders admits their company lacks the infrastructure to keep pace with digital change. According to Mosley, this gap will widen unless companies prioritise people-readiness alongside tech adoption.

She’s also advocating for a shift in hiring practices, encouraging HR leaders to assess candidates not just for hard skills, but for their ability to cope with volatility. “We screen for skills and experience, but how often are we asking: Can this person navigate uncertainty? Can they bounce back fast? Will they strengthen team culture in a crisis? CQ should be part of the recruitment conversation.”

With over ten years of experience helping businesses raise the bar on leadership, Mosley’s methods are gaining traction with forward-thinking organisations ready to lead with confidence in an era of rapid transformation.
