Flights at Heathrow Airport have reportedly been delayed after a fire broke out near a runway.
A photograph taken from inside a terminal showed thick smoke billowing into the sky.
Some departures have been “suspended” as a result of a blaze near the threshold of 09R, specialist outlet Aviation News UK reported.
