High-performance leadership coach and founder of Eighty™, Anna Mosley, is urging UK employers to make Change Intelligence a top priority — warning that without it, businesses could be left behind in the fast-evolving AI landscape.

Having recently delivered keynotes at The Scottish Business Conference 2025 and The Recruitment Network’s CEO Huddle, Mosley is sounding the alarm on the need for mentally strong, adaptable leadership teams as AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot revolutionise how people work.

Anna said: “In the current business climate of fast-paced tech advancements, Change Intelligence is an essential leadership metric for success that is too often overlooked.”

Through Eighty™, Mosley helps leaders and founders from progressive global businesses transform into ‘EXTRAordinary’ professionals by strengthening their emotional and change-related intelligence. Her impactful coaching style is already being embraced by leading companies including ghd, Sacla, and Beauty Works.

Mosley describes Change Intelligence (CQ) as a leader’s capacity to remain resilient, agile, and positive in the face of change. Those with high CQ stay calm, encourage innovation, and help their teams feel secure even in uncertain times. They lead by example, model a solution-focused mindset, and view challenges as opportunities.

“People follow confidence, not chaos,” Mosley added. “The businesses that thrive will be the ones whose leaders remain calm in unknown, able to guide their teams through disruption, not around it.”

Her appeal comes in the wake of Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index, which shows that while 78% of UK workers are already using generative AI tools, a third of business leaders feel unprepared for the digital shift. According to Mosley, this disconnect highlights the urgent need for Change Intelligence, particularly as employee stress and disengagement continue to rise.

She’s also advocating for a rethink in recruitment, arguing that CQ should be part of how organisations assess new hires. “We screen for skills and experience, but how often are we asking: Can this person navigate uncertainty? Can they bounce back fast? Will they strengthen team culture in a crisis? CQ should be part of the recruitment conversation.”

With more than a decade of experience in leadership development, Mosley’s latest talks and workshops are challenging outdated management norms and helping business leaders prepare for an unpredictable future.
