Iceland’s Bank Holiday sale is filled with discounts including better-than-half-price deals on popular household names such as Comfort and Ariel – but there’s a way for new customers to save even more
There’s little better than drying laundry outside now that spring is finally in full swing, and Iceland has slashed the price of popular products from big brand names such as Persil, Comfort and Lenor in time for the Bank Holiday weekend. One product we’ve got our eye on is Persil’s Bio Laundry Washing Liquid Detergent 648ml which normally retails for £8 but has now been cut to £3.75 in an online-exclusive offer.
This works out to 16p-a-wash. Popular among laundry lovers, the product has received rave reviews on Iceland’s website with one saying it ‘works well first time for stains.’ Meanwhile, another said: “Persil 24W Bio gives you splendid results time after time. Whites are really white. Nothing would make me change to another laundry product.”
Meanwhile, another sought-after deal is Ariel’s Washing Gel 26 Washes Original which is now £5, down from £11. One five star review of the gel reads: “Brilliant product, deep clean even on cool temperatures, fresh smelling fragrance. Would highly recommend.”
Those who are partial to Comfort can also bag a bargain as the retailer is offering the brand’s Perfume Creations Fabric Conditioner Honeysuckle & Sandalwood 48 washes (1.44 L) for £2.75 instead of its usual price of £6.
One fan commented on the scent of the discounted fabric conditioner, writing: “The smell is gorgeous and powerful. Love holding this to my nose, wearing it makes me feel great.”

The supermarket’s offers don’t end there, as the retailer is also giving new customers £9 off £60 using the code ICE9OFF60 at the checkout. It’s important to note that the offer is available online only – full T&Cs can be found on the Iceland website.
As well as the laundry offers, Iceland has also discounted food, including 15 for £15 on Easy Teas, six for £10 on Picky Bits and three for £10 on Slimming World and MyProtein. All offers can be found on their website, with free delivery on orders over £40.
Elsewhere, Amazon is offering the Ecover Delicate Laundry Detergent Laundry Washing Liquid For Wool & Silk 16 Washes in a waterlily and honeydew scent for £3.85, cut from £4.95. Ideal for delicates, sensitive skin and sports clothes, it’s said to be effective even in cold water.
Meanwhile, Tallow + Ash’s Oud Laundry Duo costs £12.99 and features the ‘luxury’ scent of cardamom, neroli and violet on a sandalwood and patchouli base. Back to Iceland, and there’s a whole host of household deals to be nabbed as part of the Bank Holiday Savings Event. These include offers on Dettol, Febreze, and Fairy.
One of the standout deals is on Persil’s Bio Laundry Washing Liquid Detergent 648ml (24 washes) which is currently £3.75, making it the ideal time to stock up. The same bottle is currently selling on Ocado for £5, and Amazon for £7.94.
