Without using tea bags for the brown colour, you can use pomegranate peels instead.

First, remove the white, bitter part from the pomegranate peels.

Then add the red pomegranate peel into the cooker with soaked channa, bay leaf and some water.

Cook the chana for 2-3 minutes and 10 minutes on sim.
