Luxury fragrance brand Kayali has launched a range of body sprays in best-selling scents – and we’re obsessed
With so many perfumes to choose from nowadays, finding the scent that makes you feel amazing can be a challenge. But if there’s one brand currently dominating our fragrance radar — and every influencer’s vanity — it’s Kayali.
The female-founded perfume brand, launched in 2018 by Mona Kattan as the fragrance arm of Huda Beauty, has built a cult following for its modern, playful and downright addictive scents. If you haven’t yet experienced them, think sweet marshmallows, creamy vanilla and pistachio-filled desserts — fragrances that smell good enough to eat, basically.
Now, Kayali has expanded into body mists, offering a lighter, more wearable take on three of its best-loved perfumes: vanilla, pistachio, and cherry. Naturally, the Mirror beauty team had to put these £39 mists to the test to find out if they live up to the hype.

Lauren on Kayali’s Vanilla 28 Spray
Despite hearing endless hype about Kayali’s viral perfumes, I’ll admit — this is my first venture into the brand. I’ve always been intrigued by the sweet, dessert-like scents that seem to have taken over TikTok, so when I heard about the launch of the Vanilla 28 body mist, I knew it was time to dive in.
From the first spritz, it’s pure dessert bliss, with buttery vanilla and almond notes creating a comforting, warm aroma. However, what surprised me most was how balanced it felt — sweet but not overpowering. I was slightly wary at first, as I tend to prefer rich, deep fragrances rather than purely sugary ones, but this has a depth and creaminess that makes it wearable and sophisticated rather than sickly.
One of my favourite things about this mist is how easy it is to layer. I love mixing my perfumes, and I’ve found the Vanilla 28 pairs beautifully with Beauty Pie’s Le Smash Santal, a complex blend of tonka bean and sandalwood. The combination creates a warm, woody vanilla mix that feels both cosy and elevated — ideal for day-to-night wear.
As for longevity, I’ve noticed that while the scent is lighter than a traditional perfume, it still lingers on my clothes and scarf throughout the day (and beyond). It’s become my go-to finishing touch before leaving the house — one last spritz before I step out the door, ensuring I smell delicious for hours.

Tiffany on Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato Spray
Food-inspired perfumes are not something new and it’s rare that I find one intriguing enough to purchase. But to all my friends who know me, I am a huge pistachio fan and it’s my favourite gelato flavour. This is what Kayali’s new Yum Pistachio Gelato All Over Body Spray smells like.
Inspired by the perfume of the same name, the body spray is perfect for every moment whether you are starting your day, applying post workout or need to smell good for a special occasion. The scent from this aluminium can last for hours. Other than hints of pistachio, it delivers notes of bergamot, sweet rum, hazelnut, cotton cream, whipped cream and marshmallow.
The nozzle of the spray can be flimsy but other than that, it’s a five out of five product for me. It’ll be good to see if the brand brings out a mini size in the future for travel purposes.
For something similar, Sol de Janeiro’s classic Cheirosa 62 Hair & Body Mist is now reduced to £20.40 on Amazon. The Brazilian-inspired mist has pistachio, vanilla and salted caramel notes, delivering a full burst of sweet flavours for a tropical scent.

Melisha on Kayali’s Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 Spray
Cherry perfumes really took off last year and the sexy scent is still trending. Smokey and seductive, Kayali’s Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 was what led me to ditch the much-pricier Tom Ford Lost Cherry – it’s now my go-to.
It was music to my ears when I heard the brand has released a body spray version. This new mist delivers the warm, spicy notes of its namesake, as well as hints of raspberry, praline and jasmine.
The body spray provides a soft layer of my favourite sultry scent, perfect for pairing with another fragrance or wearing on its own. Not only does it come in a generous 125ml bottle, but it means you can save £34 compared to buying the Eau de Parfum, which costs £73 for 50ml.
