Shoppers have limited time to bag £300 worth of travel vouchers in a deal that also includes Netflix, Sky Sports and 1,130Mbps fibre broadband
Virgin Media is covering the summer getaway costs for select customers in a surprise flash sale. The provider’s newest offer is enticing Brits to ditch rivals such as Sky and BT by providing £300 off holidays booked via Trip.com.
This can be put towards a package holiday and used for flights, hotels or flight and hotel combinations, though the deadline to secure the offer is rapidly approaching. The promotion is exclusively available to customers joining Virgin’s Max Volt bundle by midnight on May 13.
Those seizing the opportunity can benefit from super-fast Gig1 fibre broadband delivering speeds up to 1,130 Mbps, plus over 230 TV channels including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. The bundle also features a complimentary Netflix subscription and unlimited O2 SIM card, all for a total £78.99 monthly.
Virgin imposes no setup fee to activate the deal, with customers obtaining their £300 Trip.com gift card provided they maintain their package for more than 55 days. With an O2 SIM included in the bundle, customers can utilise their unlimited data, minutes, and texts while roaming in 75 destinations at no additional charge.
Max Volt customers can also unlock several ‘Volt’ benefits when they add an O2 pay monthly plan to their bundle, including double mobile data on eligible O2 mobile plans and WiFi guarantee. The latter provides minimum download speeds of 30Mbps or £100 credit back.

New customers signing up to Virgin Media’s Max Volt bundle by May 13 will receive £300 vouchers to spend at Trip.com.
There is a catch to the deal, however, as monthly prices for the 24-month Max Volt bundle contract are due to climb to £85.49 from April 2027 and £91.99 from April 2028. Meanwhile, Sky is also throwing in some extras, with customers signing up to its £24 Ultimate TV bundle now receiving free subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, reports Belfast Live.
Sky claims this is worth roughly £240 a year and comes bundled with 135 TV channels. For those looking to trim costs with a standalone broadband package, Plusnet is offering reward cards loaded with up to £125 to spend online and across numerous high street retailers.
Plusnet fibre broadband kicks off at £22.99 per month for Full Fibre 74, with the biggest reward card available alongside the £31.99 Full Fibre 900 plan. As for Virgin Media, scores of customers have been sharing their thoughts about the provider on Trustpilot, where it boasts thousands of glowing reviews.
One writes: “Great service by very professional, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Easy install as previous Virgin media equipment still in place. Really good wi-fi signal and obviously good support available if needed.”
Another adds: “Great, simple and easy. The engineer was friendly and installed the cable without fuss. My internet has gone from a patchy 12Mb to a solid 500Mb for the same price, plus Netflix.”
One reviewer’s experience got off to a rocky start, but they praised Virgin Media’s customer service, saying: “Bad start but good customer service response. The onboarding process was terrible, especially the account number and area reference number that I never received, but the customer service saved the day.”
Meanwhile, another five-star reviewer wrote: “Seamless switch over from Sky. Professional engineers who turned up on time, polite and work completed quickly and efficiently. Explained how to use the new media well.”
