Victoria Beckham Beauty has launched a flattering new brown shade of its bestselling Vast Lash Mascara, which mature shoppers in their 60s and 80s are calling the best in decades

Victoria Beckham Beauty has expanded one of its best-loved makeup offerings, and it is perfectly suited to more mature shoppers. Posh has introduced a fresh shade to her mascara collection that pairs beautifully with one of her eyeliners already proving a hit with older beauty enthusiasts.

Victoria has launched her Vast Lash Mascara in Cocoa, a rich, indulgent brown tone designed to be far more flattering than black on mature lashes. The Satin Kajal Liner, which shares the same name, is reportedly the former Spice Girl’s all-time favourite shade that she reaches for on a daily basis.

The Vast Lash Mascara in both Black and Cocoa is priced at £33. The Satin Kajal Liner comes in 20 shades across matte, jewel and shimmer finishes and is likewise priced at £33.

To celebrate the launch, Victoria Beckham Beauty is gifting all new customers a free velvet pochette. Those spending £50 or more will also receive a complimentary ’97 Terry Zip Bag.

The Vast Lash Mascara is a bold, volumising mascara engineered to deliver dramatic impact and lift in a single stroke. It offers an intensely defined finish while simultaneously nourishing and conditioning the lashes, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The curved wand features plush bristles that work to evenly coat each lash from root to tip, guaranteeing a full, lifted finish with every use. Built for all-day wear, Vast Lash boasts impressive staying power, lasting well over 12 hours.

The high-performance formula is entirely smudge-proof, flake-proof, sweat-proof, and humidity-proof, ensuring lashes look just as stunning at the end of the day as they did when first applied.

The Vast Lash Mascara is crafted with a blend of clean, nourishing ingredients designed to boost lash health over time. It features Tahitian sea micro algae, which strengthens eyelashes to encourage a naturally thicker and fuller appearance after just two weeks of use.

Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) moisturises lash hair, while niacinamide (vitamin B3) supports keratin production to help prevent breakage. Vitamin E, meanwhile, works to deeply condition and nourish eyelashes, leaving them naturally soft with every application.

Elsewhere, Charlotte Tilbury’s Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara is priced at £28. The mascara promises to deliver 28 hours of long-lasting volume and curl.

Driven by the brand’s Lash Vinyl-Black Wrap Technology, the formula harnesses plumping polymers to achieve the ultimate volume for a fanned-out, double-lash effect. It’s also infused with jojoba waxes to nourish and protect your lashes, while the ultra-curved lash styler brush combines soft and sharper bristles to hug, grip and separate each individual lash.

Alternatively, Amazon stocks the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara for £8.29. Available in black, brown and maroon, the mascara boasts a lightweight bamboo extract formula that lifts and lengthens without clumping.

Over at Victoria Beckham Beauty, the Vast Lash Mascara holds an impressive overall rating of 4.3 out of five, based on 4,328 reviews. One delighted customer said: “Love it, no clumps. Best mascara I have used in 50 years. Thanks.”

A second shopper wrote: “Easy to apply but need to layer/ put on different coats. Bought this after cataract surgery : I have age related dry eyes but found this easy to apply and good to wash off and tolerate after not being able to wear makeup for numerous years.

“I think I’ve tried every mascara on the market from cheap to very expensive,” a third penned. “Since reaching my 60s, I’ve found all mascaras, regardless of price, just don’t stay put.

“They flake and smudge to the point I’d begun to not bother. I’d read the hype about Victoria Beckham Beauty mascara but wasn’t expecting much. However, it’s the best mascara I’ve used in years.

“The tube feels substantial and the product goes on very smoothly. It separates and lengthens the lashes beautifully. I have to admit I’m impressed so far. I’ve only worn it for short nights out so the real test will be wearing it for a longer period of time but so far, so good.”

Not everyone was won over by the Vast Lash Mascara, however, with one customer awarding it just three stars. They commented: “Not very thick. Beautiful packaging but average product.”

“A bit disappointed with this product,” one three-star review reads. “Too much product came out on brush leaving me to wipe the brush before I could apply it to my eyelashes.”

However, another customer was absolutely delighted with their Vast Lash Mascara purchase, awarding it a glowing five-star rating. They said: “I’m an eighty year-old and have suddenly got very thick long eyelashes.

“Outstanding,” another enthusiastic review stated. “Beautiful product. Lengthens lashes and I’m old – 56.”
