Venezuela Fury arrived at the church on her wedding day wearing white shoes that were a little more unconventional that traditional heels

Love them or hate them, there’s no denying the Croc resurgence we’ve been seeing over the past few years. Bedazzled and heeled Crocs were seen all over Simone Rocha’s SS24 runway show, while trendy styles, including flip-flop Crocs and chunky platform Crocs, have come about, and helped give them a fashion edge. Not to mention the endless collaborations with LEGO, Hollister, and more.

And if you love the controversial shoe, you’re not the only one. Paris Fury revealed on her Instagram story that her daughter, Venezuela, was planning to swap out traditional white heels for a pair of £50 Crocs on her wedding day. And she did! In a shot that showed Venezuela getting out of the back of a cab, you can clearly see she’s swapped height for comfort, and gone for a new pair of Classic Clogs in white.

The Classic Clogs are priced at £49.99 and available at both Schuh and Crocs, but shoppers can also nab them for £39.88 on Amazon, thanks to a 15% discount. These comfy clogs are lightweight, super easy to clean, and designed with those iconic ventilation holes that help keeps things cool and breezy.

While the unconventional footwear choice may surprise and divide opinions among those following along with Venezuela’s wedding, comfort-first wedding shoes have actually become increasingly popular in recent years. We’ve seen the rise ballet flats or Mary Janes such as this gorgeous floral mesh pair from Vivaia, custom platform wedding Converse, or even just simple sandals, like this embellished pair from Dune.

Many brides have chosen to swap out classic (and often uncomfortable) heels for more practical options for evening receptions, outdoor ceremonies, or just to dance the night away, and customised clogs are on the list, though Venezuela kept them simple, classic and unadorned.

Pearl, diamanté, and crystal jibbitz have transformed the once-casual shoe into a fun bridal accessory, giving the comfy clogs a more personalised, wedding-ready finish. So we can’t wait to see if and how Venezuela decorates her Crocs for the big day.
