The budget Samsung watch is a fraction of the price compared to its flagship Galaxy smartwatches
Health and fitness goals are on the rise, and more people are looking to invest in easy ways to track metrics like their steps, workouts, stress levels and sleep routines. One of the best ways to do this is with a fitness watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is now available for £44, down from £59. This comes in the colour silver and has a range of highly sought-after features and a large 1.6-inch AMOLED display, so everything is easily accessed and seen.
Buyers don’t need to worry about their watch dying mid-workout, as it can stay alive for up to 13 days on one single charge and, according to Amazon, it can be powered up to 65% in as little as 30 minutes. Due to its slim and sleek design, the watch is a lightweight 18.5g.

The main part of the watch is its ability to record and track more than 100 workouts. From running, rowing and swimming, to biking or a simple walk, it has it all. There are also functions to track sleep and blood oxygen levels.
Users can view workout performances, health progress, sleep patterns and more with the Samsung Health app on phones. Plus, users can swipe for various functions, along with using the home button, to access everything at their ‘fingertips’.

Argos also has an option with the Garmin Vivoactive 5 Smart Watch – Ivory Cream Gold, available for £199.99. This is also available in a range of other colours, including black, navy and lavender, and it has a 42mm case size.
Like most watches, it can of course record a range of workouts, including running, hiking and cycling, as well as tracking heart rate, sleep and steps. This one has a typical usage time of up to 11 days and it is water-resistant.
Secondly, there is the Apple Watch Series 11 for £299 from Currys, down from £369. This classic device can track sports, sleep, steps, distance and calories, as well as having a battery life of up to 24 hours.
Wearers of the Samsung Fit3 have called it ‘excellent value for money’ as they rave about its ability to sync with phones: “The band was really quick to set up and synced seamlessly with my Samsung S24 phone and the Samsung Health app.
“Step tracking appears to be accurate and the sleep tracking insights are great, though it is difficult to be certain of the accuracy. Also, the band has much of the same functionality as the Samsung Galaxy Watch, for a fraction of the price.
“Overall, I think it’s great value for the price (£48), and I would recommend it if you don’t need GPS or as an additional/day-to-day tracker and for Samsung phone users.”
Another said: “I have a Samsung mobile, so great to have a matching watch – fewer apps to connect everything. Battery life is roughly nine days. I’m not a sports addict, so I just need it for basic steps and sleep tracking. Very cute with the white strap and easy to swap them around.”
“Great watch at a great price” said another shopper, however, they did mention the size as a downside: “Simple to use, especially if you have a Samsung phone. The only downside is that the face is so big it covers my whole wrist, better suited to males. I wish Samsung would bring out a fit watch that is for narrower wrists so women could wear them better.”
