The Uniqlo Seamless Down Short Coat is currently reduced from £149.90 to £99.90 and shoppers can’t stop praising its warmth and style
With the cold weather plummeting across the nation, we’ve all been reaching for our trusty hats, scarves, and snug duffel coats to keep us cosy. When it comes to warm and dependable outerwear, Uniqlo is the brand that consistently delivers.
Those on the lookout for a new coat are in luck as the brand’s winter sale is still in full swing, and its popular Seamless Down Short Coat knocked down from £149.90 to a more purse-friendly £99.90.
Available in an array of colours including dark green, wine red, light grey, and classic black, this down-filled gem is up for grabs in sizes ranging from XXS to XXL. Sporting a water-repellent finish – a necessity in this country – and boasting a ‘clever seamless windproof design’, this coat promises to stand strong against the notorious elements of UK weather, ensuring no cold shall pass through.

With its fill power of 75+, premium down, hood, and cosy collar padded for additional warmth at the neck, this coat is brimming with useful touches—such as fleece-lined pockets for when gloves are nowhere to be found.
Not only does the cocoon-shaped coat keep you toasty, but it also maintains a sleek appearance with a front placket design for a smooth aesthetic.
And it seems fashion aficionados seeking that extra insulation this winter are pretty impressed with its features as the coat sports a stellar 4.7-star rating from over 300 reviews on Uniqlo’s website, reports the Liverpool Echo.
One particularly happy shopper reflected on their black coat enthusiastically and said: “I love this jacket so much. Very light. I feel very warm. 100% recommend.”
Another buyer enthused: “Lightweight and practical down jacket to wear. Very warm! Feminine size and cut. I recommend!!”
The lightweight and functional down jacket from Uniqlo continues to garner praise as a third customer who opted for the light grey variant shared: “This down jacket is not only beautiful, but also very warm and comfortable!”
However, they did note a minor gripe, saying: “The sleeves are a bit long for my height (162 cm).”
A word of warning, however, came from some shoppers who found the ‘straight’ cut of the jacket to be less than ideal for their hip measurements.
One pointed out: “Having a down jacket of the same model but dating back several years, I wanted to buy the same model again. Surprise, the down jacket is in a straight size, so it’s very good if your hips are not wider than your shoulders (and even then). I checked that it was for women: yes… disappointed, it doesn’t fit me and is too tight at the hips.”
Despite these individual concerns, the overall feelings towards the Uniqlo down jacket remain positive.
Echoing this, one shopper who returned for a second coat gushed: “This is the second jacket I have bought like this one, I have the light-coloured one from 2024 and the black one from 2024, they are just amazing. Water resistant just enough for London/Amsterdam drizzling days, windproof and warm! My favourites! “.
