The UK could soon face cooler temperatures as weather charts show early-morning lows of 7C across England, Scotland and Wales
UK weather maps show morning temperatures could soon drop as low as 7C, with some 40 areas plummeting below 10C.
The ECMWF weather model suggests cooler conditions will grip much of the nation as Brits wake up later this week.
On Friday, August 7, areas in Scotland, England and Wales could drop to as low as 7C at 6am. Scotland is likely to be the coolest area, with the maps showing most of the country below 10C.
Conditions will be warmer further south, but nothing compared to the warm nights and morning we’ve experienced as of late. Areas in Durham, Devon and Warwickshire could all drop below 10C on the Friday morning.
The Met Office has warned that after a wet period, conditions are likely to turn drier from Thursday. From then, the forecaster predicts a “rather changeable” spell.
This includes cooler temperatures, but with the chance of sunny interludes.
