Brits are being warned to brace for a possible tornado set to batter parts of the country today – as southern England is battered by heavy rain following the driest spring in decades.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said it was “not out of the question that we could see a funnel cloud, maybe even a brief tornado across parts of the South East” of England on Wednesday.
