The award-winning UK furniture brand that sells high end furniture for thousands has collapsed into liquidation owing £1.4million in debt as a liquidator has been appointed
An award-winning UK furniture brand has plunged into liquidation owing more than £1.4 million in debt.
The Sussex-based company sells furniture, lighting and home decor before entering creditors’ voluntary liquidation on June 1.
Pure White Lines Ltd. also sources antique and vintage items from across Europe, and was established in 2012.
The business has showcases in London and a warehouse located in Belgium for distribution across Europe.
They won the Best Stand award at interior design event Decorex in 2022.
You could purchase high end furniture from the company, including chandeliers for £6,500 and dining tables costing more than £4,000.
Michael Royce of M.R. Insolvency has been appointed as liquidator.
It is estimated that £44,853 would be raised from the sale of the company’s remaining assets, according to a statement of affairs published on Companies House.
However, Pure White Lines has debts totalling £1,419,237.99 owed to unsecured creditors.
The debt is owed to HMRC, suppliers, and other associated businesses.
Nearly £200,000 is also owed to Horsham District Council.
The registered office of Pure White Lines is listed as The Packing House Orchard Farm, Emms Lane, Bucks Green. Horsham West Sussex RH13 0TR.
The Mirror have approached Pure White Lines for comment.
