A 65-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a horror crash that left a man in his 20s dead.
The alleged hit-and-run happened just before 3am on Saturday morning in Bladon, Oxfordshire. A 65-year-old man from Stroud, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. He remains in police custody at this time.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “The arrest is in connection with a collision that occurred just before 3am on Saturday morning on Grove Road, Bladon, when a man aged in his twenties, who was a pedestrian, tragically died. We continue to appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family, who are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.”
