Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to a fire on an industrial estate in North London, where a two-storey warehouse is alight.
The fire, near Watermead Way in Tottenham, is producing a significant amount of smoke. The London Fire Brigade has advised people living in the area “to keep their windows and doors closed at this time”.
Road closures are in place on Watermead Way at the junction of Leeside Road.
Crews have been mobilised from Edmonton, Enfield, Tottenham, Chingford, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder from Tottenham Fire Station is also in attendance.
