Apple has launched its latest iPad Pro and Macbook Pro, and Sky is dishing them out for pennies. The new gadgets landed on UK shelves on Wednesday (October 22), with each powered by Apple’s ‘next generation’ M5 processor and packed with advanced AI capabilities.

These premium features don’t come cheap though; over at Amazon iPad Pro M5 prices start at £999, with the MacBook Pro M5 coming in at £1,599. While some may find these prices a little too eye-watering, there’s a way to make them much more manageable with Sky Mobile’s pennies-per-day deals.

Rather than buying the device outright, Sky lets customers spread the cost with a selection of monthly plans, which work out at roughly 90p per day for the 11” iPad Pro. These also come with mobile data for using the new Apple gadgets when out and about.

So with that, here’s our favourite iPad Pro and MacBook Pro deals from Sky.

iPad Pro M5

Apple fans have two models to choose from when picking up the new device, the 11” iPad Pro and 13” iPad Pro. Naturally, there’s a slight price difference, with Sky’s plans starting at £27 and £34 respectively.

When breaking that down, the 11” model works out at 90p per day over 30 days, with the 13” coming in at £1.13 per day. There’s also nothing to pay upfront for either model.

These entry-level prices include a small 100MB data allowance, so anyone wanting to use their new iPad when not connected to WiFi will want to consider upgrading to a larger data plan. Options go all the way from 1GB for £5 to unlimited for £27, but our favourite deal is currently the 50GB for £10 plan.

While these prices seem much more appealing than buying the iPad Pro outright, there are some key caveats to consider. Firstly, to get these prices means committing to a 48-month contract, but Sky does let customers upgrade to a new device after 36 months at no extra cost.

Secondly, as with most mobile contracts, customers will see their monthly bills increase each April when Sky implements its annual inflation-linked price rise. For those seeking a shorter contract, EE offers a range of 24-month deals that come with larger – albeit pricier – data allowances as standard, such as the £83.70 Unlimited All Rounder – which also includes Apple Music, Apple TV or Netflix Standard.

MacBook Pro M5

It’s fair to say not everyone will be jumping at the chance to fork out £1,599 for the new MacBook Pro M5. Luckily, Sky is handing out the 512GB model for £35 when spreading the cost, or £39 for the 1TB version.

This works out at roughly £1.16 or £1.30 per day, and there’s a little upfront cost to pay too – either £7 or £22 depending on the model. As with the iPad Pro M5, the new MacBook comes with a 100MB data allowance, which most people will run through within an hour if not sooner, so customers want to go for a data plan ranging from 1GB for £5 to unlimited for £27.

This is where the costs begin to ramp up, so keep that in mind when committing to Sky’s contract. However, while the device element of the contract runs for 48-months, the SIM runs for 12 months.

At this point, customers can choose to keep the SIM running as is, or cancel it completely so they’re left with only the device cost to pay. Also, remember that Sky’s monthly costs will increase each April, so billpayers should factor that into their decisions.

Currently, other retailers like EE aren’t offering the MacBook Pro M5 on monthly deals, with prices the same across the board (£1,599) at the likes of Argos and Very.
