SMARTY is going up against major brands with its no contract phone plans.
Shoppers looking to change their mobile package ahead of the April price increase are in luck as we’ve just found a deal that beats the likes of giffgaff and Sky. The deal in question is a SIM-only plan with unlimited everything at SMARTY.
This lesser-known brand is a SIM-only mobile network whose plans start at £6 per month for 5GB. But what caught our eye is the winter sale deal on its unlimited calls, texts and data plan that’s reduced from £20 to £18.
This works out at 60p per day, but what makes it stand out from its rivals is that it comes on a monthly rolling plan, meaning customers don’t have to sign up for a long-term contract. With this, customers can change or cancel their deal at any time.
At giffgaff, the same package would cost £35 per month, which is £17 more expensive for a comparable deal. Another key selling point of SMARTY is that there’s no annual price rise with a rolling plan, so customers can avoid the bill hikes each April.
There are cheaper plans too for those who use less data, such as 100GB for £12 or 24GB for £7. This also rivals major networks like Sky Mobile, where 50GB of data would cost £12.

SMARTY’s unlimited calls, texts and data deal is on a monthly rolling contract with no commitment.
SMARTY says its 4G signal reaches 99% of the UK outdoor population thanks to Vodafone and Three, which provide its coverage. The SIM plans include 5G too in areas where it’s available, as well as EU roaming and the option to transfer a phone number from another provider.
While the SMARTY brand may be new to some shoppers, it’s already achieved a four-star rating on Trustpilot after more than 45,000 reviews. One says: “Reliable and effective service with an easy-to-use app, no hidden costs.”
Another says: “Excellent service at affordable prices. No nonsense monthly rolling contract is easy to change if needed.”
Keep in mind not 100% of the country is covered by SMARTY, as this customer noted: “Everything is great except for not a great signal where I live.”
While this five-star review says: “Cheap, good network coverage given they are combined Vodafone and Three, also comes with discounts when you add more people onto your plan. Given the current economy, SMARTY has the right idea being cheap and not committed to one, two or three-year contracts which increase every year.”
