Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier this week but kept his name a closely-guarded secret – until now
Tommy Fury and Molly-May Hague have named their newborn son Midas.
Fury and fiancee Hague announced the birth of their second child earlier this week but kept the name a closely-guarded secret. Molly-Mae had suggested her partner would reveal the name on his fight shorts when he walked to the ring to take on strongman Eddie Hall in Manchester tonight.
And Fury did exactly that, with “Midas” emblazoned on his fight kit. He had told Mirror Fighting earlier this week: “All will be revealed on Saturday night. It I’m looking forward to it. I think I’ve asked I’ve been asked more about the name than the actual fight.
“It’s going to be an entertaining night on Saturday and all will be revealed. It’s been a huge week for me and it can’t be described anything other as a huge blessing.”
Fury and Hague, who met on the ITV dating show Love Island, had their first daughter Bambi in January 2023 with Hague announcing she was pregnant with their second child in February. On Wednesday, the pair revealed the news in a joint Instagram post which featured the trio admiring the new member of their family in a black and white photograph.
The caption read: “… and then there were 4.” The post received more than 1.5 million likes within the first two hours of being shared online with friends and fans celebrating the news in the comments section. Among them was TV host and former Love Islander, Maura Higgins, who said: “Congratulations again. So happy for you all.”
Hague and Fury met in 2019 on the fifth series of Love Island where they finished in second place. After the show they remained together and were engaged to one another until they split up in August 2024. The pair rekindled their relationship and confirmed they were back together in May last year. Since being on Love Island, Hague has amassed 8.6 million Instagram followers and in 2024 launched her own clothing brand, Maebe.
Hague made her first public appearance since giving birth on Saturday night when she attended Fury’s fight with Hall at The AO Arena.
