A toddler has been critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in an underground car park.
The young child, aged three, is understood to have been critically injured after a vehicle struck them at an underground car park in Dublin this morning.
The child was taken to hospital in a critical condition after emergency services rushed to the scene in a car park near the Dunnes Stores in Charlestown.

In a statement to the Irish Mirror authorities said: “Gardaí are currently at the scene of a serious injury traffic collision in Finglas, Dublin 11.
“Shortly after 8:40am on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, Gardaí and emergency services responded after a young child was struck by a car in an underground car park.
“The young boy (3) was transported by ambulance to Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) Temple Street with serious injuries. His condition understood to be critical.
“The scene is preserved and a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will be carried out.”
