Police scrambled to the residential address just before 6pm on Monday evening, and remain at the scene after arresting three men, a police spokesperson has confirmed
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following what has been described as a ‘serious assault’ on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called to a residential address in Northern Ireland on Monday evening (July 20). They scrambled to the reported assault on Duncairn Parade, in north Belfast, shortly before 6pm, a Police Service Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesperson said.
Police officers remain at the scene into the early hours of Tuesday, Belfast Live reports. Authorities in Northern Ireland have now confirmed three men, one in his 30s, and two in their 40s, are in police custody and said to be ‘assisting with enquiries’.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Shortly before 6pm today, Monday 20th July, police received a report that a man had been assaulted inside a residential property.
“Three men, one aged in his 30s, and two aged in their 40s, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody, assisting with enquiries.
