A popular pair of Skechers that’s said to be “so, so comfy” can be snapped up for under £35. The navy and pink Skechers Flex Appeal 5.0 have an RRP of £63.99, but there’s a way to shave £29.75 off the price (except for size 3).
Sports Direct has already cut £18.99 off, but there’s a way to bring it down even further. It comes via money-saving website TopCashback, where new members who join here benefit from a £15 signup bonus when spending £15 or more at a participating retailer. Kitted out with “shock-absorbing” memory foam insoles, the trainers are renowned for being very comfortable, while they’re also machine washable to keep them looking fresh over time. Elsewhere, Asics is another big name in the trainers world and the brand has cut 30% off the popular Dynablast 5 running shoes.
Someone looking for a pop of colour might appreciate Adidas’ Supernova glide shoes that come in several styles, including a standout pink fusion. They’re £77 which is 30% off the original £110 price.
The trainers are built with a lightweight mono-mesh upper that’s said to “hug your foot”. That brings the price down from £115 to £69. They’re designed so the midsole and outsole target the ball of your foot and heel striking zone for a “bounce effect”.

Back with the Skechers trainers, there aren’t any reviews on the Sports Direct site, though 273 have been left on Amazon, where the shoes are priced at £63.99. They’ve averaged out at a rating of 4.6 out of five, with one saying: “So comfortable! I love Sketchers trainers. Lightweight. Good fit. Good support to my ankle. I can walk miles in these!”
Another continued: “I love these Sketchers, very comfortable, light in weight, good fit and they look good.” A third added: “Very pleased these have extra width, which makes them comfortable to wear when walking distance, which was (the) reason for the purchase.”
Meanwhile, another buyer said: “What can I say? Love these shoes. So, so comfy and loved the colours! These are my fifth pair of Skechers! Brilliant!”
One buyer deducted a star, noting: “Comfortable as usual but had laces that was not expecting.” Another found them to be “too wide”.
