When The Mirror checked online today, the cheapest gift bags started from just 20p, with Christmas tags knocked down to 39p. The cheapest wrapping paper is down to 49p for a 4m roll.
The discounts are available on The Range website now, or to save on delivery costs, you can visit your nearest store to see if it has any sale items in stock. You can find your nearest store on The Range website.
The Range delivery fees start from £4.99, or free if you spend over £59. The Range will close all its stores on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this week, to give its staff a well-deserved break. Its stores will then reopen as normal on December 27.
Shoppers will be able to browse its Boxing Day sales online during the festive season. The Range has 280 stores across the UK.
In an image shared on Instagram, The Range wrote: “Quick heads up! Our stores will be closed on Boxing Day because even we need a little break from all the festive fun.”
The post also shared the following message: “CHRISTMAS ANNOUNCEMENT. It’s time for some festive R&R! Our stores will be closed on Christmas Day & Boxing Day so our incredible teams can enjoy the celebrations with loved ones.”
The Range isn’t alone in closing on Boxing Day. Aldi, Lidl, M&S and Home Bargains will also keep their stores shut on December 26 to give their staff a break.
Meanwhile, fried chicken chain KFC has confirmed that almost 90 of its restaurants will remain open on Christmas Day this year.
KFC revealed these branches will be open for drive-thru and delivery via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats, with some also offering dine-in.
KFC is recommending customers check the opening times online before you head down, as hours will vary depending on your location.
