Tesco shoppers are rushing to their nearest supermarket to get their hands on bargain F&F clothing items, as the clothing range has been described as the ‘new Zara’
Shoppers have been left amazed at the clothing aisle in their local Tesco stores, with many branding it the ‘new Zara’ due to its affordable prices. High street fashion chain Zara has long been known for its fashionable clothing, with items often going viral on social media platforms such as such TikTok and Instagram, leading them to sell out in stores.
However, due to the ongoing Cost of Living crisis, many shoppers are opting to go to cheaper chains for their fashion needs. And some have been surprised to learn they can do their clothes shopping at the same time as their food shop.
Taking to TikTok, one woman named Naya shared her shock at realising that Tesco is one of her new preferred places to go for buying clothes now, as she went on to compare it to Zara. “Guys, can we talk about how Tesco is the new Zara?” Naya said at the start of her video. “Like, if you’re not shopping in Tesco every other week to see what the F&F is saying, then what are you doing?”
F&F is Tesco’s own fashion line that’s available in most of its supermarkets, with some stores having a large designated section just for clothing. The range is popular with shoppers looking for stylish yet budget-friendly clothing.
Naya went on to say that she’d recently bought the purple collared top with gold button that she was wearing in the video, but also made a different clip to show it off better, before she went on to compare it to Zara once again.
“I bought this [top] for £10.50, it was £27.50. It is Zara material. I saved £17,” Naya revealed.
“I’m not even joking, like, get to Tesco,” she urged her viewers.
And Naya wasn’t the only one who has noticed this comparison, with several viewers taking to the comments section to share their own thoughts.
“SHHHH, don’t let them know about the Clubcard 25 per cent off,” one viewer commented, referring to the discount that Tesco Clubcard members often get on all F&F clothing items in Tesco stores.
A second viewer said: “I was just saying this yesterday, Tesco F&F is tea!!! Available online too!”
“It’s been good for a long minute now. Zara isn’t doing it again,” a third person commented.
“Even Asda clothing… I was gatekeeping for time but let me put the girlies on,” someone else shared, while another added: “And don’t get me started about George!”
Meanwhile, another viewer also said: “TU Sainsbury’s has me in a choke hold.”
It comes as Tesco shoppers were also left delighted to learn that the F&F changing rooms were coming back to stores, after having been closed off for several years.
