Police have issued a major update after a teen girl was stabbed in a UK high school.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife on a school premises after a teenage girl was stabbed at Thorpe St Andrew School on Wednesday, Norfolk police has said.
Police were called to the secondary school at around 10.24am on Wednesday following reports that a teenage girl had been stabbed on the premises.

Officers attended the school on Laundry Lane, where emergency services responded to the incident.
Norfolk Police confirmed that a 15-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Following further inquiries, the teenager has now been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife on school premises.
The suspect cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age.
Police said the boy has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Norwich Youth Court on Friday, March 13.
Officers have not released further details about the condition of the girl who was stabbed.
Police said patrols will remain in place around the school and the surrounding area as the investigation continues.
In a statement, Norfolk Police said officers will be carrying out reassurance patrols at the school and nearby streets over the coming days.
The incident has shocked the local community, with police urging anyone with concerns to speak with officers who will be present in the area.
