Tasha Ghouri’s nude lip colour has been the talk of Strictly fans, and now her makeup artist has revealed which products from Kylie Cosmetics she’s been using to create the look
Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screen, and amongst the line up is former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, who has been heading up the leaderboard ever since her first dance. As well as her footwork, fans have been impressed by Tasha’s looks each week, with her blue-toned look for her Viennese waltz being a particular favourite amongst viewers.
After many requests, makeup artist Gemma Wheatcroft, who was behind the look, shared what she’d used to create the gorgeous look. Her lip combination was the most highly requested thanks to its perfect pink-toned nude colour, with Gemma revealing that she’d used products from Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics beauty line.

Sharing a snap of Tasha on her Instagram stories last week, Gemma explained that she’d used Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick on her lips. Although she didn’t share the exact shades she’d used, the liquid lipstick comes in a whole host of different nude and pink shades, with the colours On Brand and Another Day, Another Nude both fitting the bill for Tasha’s pale pink pout.
The liquid lipstick is known for it’s highly pigmented colour pay off that only requires a single coat to get a solid colour. Unlike other matte lipsticks which can leave your lips feeling dry or sticky, the Kylie Cosmetics’ liquid lipstick formula is non-drying, so you don’t constantly feel like you need to top it up or take it off completely to redo it.
It lasts up to eight hours without smudging, feathering or transferring, making it ideal for day-to-night or those times where you don’t even have time to top up your lippy. You can also use one of Kylie’s Lip Liner Pencils , £16, to create a protective barrier around your lips to make sure it doesn’t budge.
The lip liner has a velvety finish and soft, creamy consistency which means you can apply it smoothly without dragging or having to use multiple strokes. It also comes in a range of colours that suit each of the different shades in the liquid lipstick line, so you can create a perfect pairing.
For Tasha’s bold blue eyeshadow during her waltz, Gemma turned to Pat Mcgrath Labs Mothership Subliminal Eyeshadow Palette , £119, which contains a bold blue hue as well as some softer complementary tones like silver, lilac and nude. Several of the eyeshadows also have a metallic finish, which was perfect for finishing off Tasha’s celestial eye look and matched her beaded blue dress perfectly.
Don’t forget you can tune into Strictly Come Dancing on BBC every Saturday, with the results show airing on Sundays at 7:15pm.
