The lamp ‘features a vibrant shade that adds a colourful touch to any room’
A ‘stylish’ lamp that’s been reduced to below £20 at The Range looks remarkably similar to one retailing at John Lewis for £140.
The Hallie Stripe Lamp, now available at £19.99, “features a vibrant shade that adds a colourful touch to any room”. The lamp is decorated with either green or blue stripes, in “vibrant colours”, and delivers “statement lighting”. On its website B&M describes the product as possessing “an elegant yet playful appearance”. It continues: “The gentle curves of the base provide an interesting shape that serves as a stylish accent for your space.
“This fantastic lamp will brighten your home and add a pop of colour.” There aren’t currently any customer reviews of this lamp on the B&M website.
Meanwhile, John Lewis is stocking a similar-looking Trevone Ceramic Table Lamp for £140. This lamp is available in any of four shades: yellow, green, blue, or red.
The retailer says on its website: “Add a pop of colour and style to your home with our Trevone table lamp. Showcasing a textured ceramic rib base, this lamp combines a contrast stripe design to create a visual treat in the home.
“A matching linen shade and fabric flex complete the look.” It boasts an average rating of 4.9 out of a possible five stars, with one shopper writing: “I have this in quite a dark area of my entrance hall, it totally transforms the space. Bold and bright. Nothing to dislike!”
A second said: “This lamp is beautiful. It will lend a welcome sense of style and class to the new colour scheme in my lounge. I’m so pleased to own it. Well worth the cost.”
