The Radley watch tracks ‘steps, activity, calories, heart rate and sleep’ for less than £15
Smartwatches from the likes of Google, Apple, and Samsung are popular for their tracking and seamless integration from wrist to mobile device, but they’re not best suited for wearers on a budget. Which is where fitness trackers come in, lighter wearables with a lower price and focused on basic step counts, exercise and heart rate, nothing else.
Shoppers looking for one can get a ‘sturdy’ Radley model for less than £15 when shoppers buy the Radley Series 8 Smart Watch from Argos (now £29.99 in the sale, down from £39.99) via TopCashback’s links. A deal site which pays consumers a proportion of their money back to shop through its links.
This is for new members of TopCashback and Argos, as the £15 sign-up bonus and cashback drops the Radley Series 8 Watch to £14.70. Those who are already members of Argos, but yet to sign up to TopCashback, can get it for £14.73, which is a fraction of the initial £39.99 price.
The smartwatch offers features for fitness fans or wearers who simply want to keep a closer eye on their health and steps. It has a heart rate monitor, GPS function (so it can be paired via Bluetooth to phones) and tracks activities including cycling, walking, running, and climbing.
Unlike the high-end Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, now £479 on sale, the Radley fitness tracker does not compare to its features, including its titanium casing or 10 ATM water resistance, which allows wearers to track their swimming.

This Radley smart watch has reliable basic tracking for active wearers, who need step counts, activity tracking and sleep scores but are restricted by budget.
For less than £15, though, the Radley watch does still give a detailed breakdown on activity, includes sleep tracking – something not all budget alternatives offer – and is compatible with some Apple Store apps. A downside, however, is the screen size (which isn’t surprising for the cost) as it lacks the size featured on the elevated Fitbit Versa 4.
The Google Fitbit model is still considered to be a cheaper alternative, compared to the likes of Apple Watches and its upgraded Google Pixel sibling, but for £127 it offers more than 40 exercise modes, a better battery and works with iOS 15 or higher & Android OS 9.0.
Wearers of the Radley model, however, do rate it for its simple design and tracking. As one person explained: “I’m very pleased with it. I didn’t want anything too complicated, just my steps and activity levels.
“It tracks my steps, activity, calories, heart rate, sleep, other sports like cycling, running (which I don’t use), and also messages and calls when synced to my phone. My only gripe is that it doesn’t hold its charge as long as stated.”
Another wearer said: “It has a lot of useful features such as heart rate, breathing, and my nine-year-old daughter loves it and wears it almost every day.”
One user said that they thought it was ‘good for battery time’ and found the ‘strap sturdy and overall easy to use’.
