The new dress is receiving praise online and has already sold out in some sizes
A new Asda dress is receiving glowing reviews both on the George website and on social media.
The supermarket’s own clothing and homeware brand has built up a devoted following over the years, thanks to its affordable prices and extensive selection of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, alongside numerous other product lines. Now a new £20 midi dress has shoppers heaping praise on it. It is available in two colours and a range of sizes, though some sizes have already sold out online.
George’s Textured Midi Dress, available in both black and rust, has a crew neck with textured upper material and plisse lower. It features a midi cut, is sleeveless, and comes in sizes 8-24 (subject to availability).
The dress is machine washable but should not be tumble dried or dry cleaned. As a recent addition to the George range, it has only two reviews at the time of publication.
Both shoppers, however, have awarded it five-star ratings, with one writing: “Stunning dress. This dress is amazing from length to fit to material. George you nailed it. Love the different materials on top and bottom, also got this in black! Great fit overall.”
The second customer described the dress as “beautiful” and “flattering”, adding: “Material is great, length is great, I am 5ft 3.5 . Definitely great for taking on holiday. Also got this in rust.” On the George at Asda Instagram page, one happy customer wrote about the dress: “I’ve just bought [this] – everyone loves it!”
Another Instagram user said: “I have that dress in black and the rust colour omg they are beautiful so stunning”. Meanwhile, a third simply added: “Wow George has really upped their game”.
