Starbucks has announced a new pink Bearista cup as part of its Pink Drink collection, and fans are already setting early alarms ahead of the UK release later this month
Starbucks has sent fans into a frenzy once again, unveiling a brand new version of the iconic Bearista cup that took the internet by storm earlier this year. Back in November 2025, devoted Starbucks fans across the USA were spotted queuing for hours before stores opened in freezing temperatures, desperately hoping to get their hands on a bear-shaped glass cup sporting a green Starbucks beanie.
As footage of the cups spread like wildfire across social media, people went to extraordinary lengths to secure one. The product sold out within days, with some stores unable to even get them onto the shelves before stocks were completely exhausted.
When the cups arrived in the UK in January 2026, they proved every bit as popular. Demand remains sky-high, with resale prices rocketing — they are currently listed on sites such as eBay for a staggering £145 per cup.
Now, months on, Starbucks has announced the launch of a fresh new version of the Bearista cup, sending fans into the same fever pitch of excitement as the original release.
“NEW Pink Starbucks Bear Cup. Coming soon to the UK,” Instagram page ‘UK Newest Foods’ revealed as they shared a photo of the brand new Starbucks cup in question.
While the original Bearista cups were a big success , the latest version appears to be generating just as much attention and love. Rather than the trademark green cap, this new version sports a charming pink cap featuring a pink Starbucks logo, while the accompanying straw is topped with an oversized pink strawberry.
The cups were first unveiled in the USA back in June, with their release date set for July 13. It now appears the Bearista is also heading across the pond to the UK, where the cups will drop on the very same day.
The Bearista cups form part of the wider Pink Drink merchandise collection, a nod to the much-loved staple of the Starbucks menu. Whether the remainder of the collection will also land in the UK remains to be seen.
On their own Instagram page, Starbucks teased the launch with a video showing a pair of hands clutching the bear cup, edited to display various pink patterns rather than revealing the full design.
“Mark your calendars. 13.07. One Bearista cup per customer only. On sale from 6:00am. While stocks last,” Starbucks said in their own Instagram post.
Fans appeared every bit as enthused about this release as the last, with scores of followers flocking to the comments section of Starbucks’ post to share their reactions.
“Don’t do this to me because I already did a 3am alarm for the original bearista but I fear this is pink drink inspired and I might lose it.” one person wrote.
“IM BERRY READY,” jokingly said, while someone else mirrored the excitement and said: “I’m so ready for this.
“NO FLIPPING WAYYYY AHHHHHHH. i’m so ready!!!” someone else stated, while another wrote: “You’ll see me there.
“Eughhhh another 5am wake up call,” another fan said.
While the pricing is yet to be confirmed, the original Bearista cup was priced at £27.95.
